There are a lot of complaints, but mostly how the decision was unilaterally made. Once they lay out the details, I think most Hendersonians will support it. Enough to get it built, anyway.

How many buildings have been denied permits by local governments in the Valley? Seems like very few, commercial development pretty much can do what it wants. They even approved that "arena" project by that con man to go up around M Resort only to find out later he was trying to get it casino entitled and had no chance of ever having money to build an arena.

You're probably right, but no one really lives out there. This Pavilion is smack in the middle of GVR, heavily residential, so there will be plenty of NIMBY politics.
