Very simply: Korpisalo or Merzlikins?

Both have been trash for awhile (one way longer than the other) and Elvis is still .018% better and almost half a goal a game less.

I doubt Korpi gets moved for anything now, not even future considerations, a team would be better off going to a sporting goods store and getting one of those vinyl goalies you tape to the posts that leave the corners exposed.

Merzlikins has “outplayed” Korpisalo for like 50 games.

19-20, Korpisalo was the better goalie, “the starter” and WON playoff games that he had a big impact in. Forget the shutouts!!

What? Why does the 19-20 season matter at all to 2021-22 and beyond?

Elvis was a rookie. Never played in NA before. Torts had a sense of loyalty to korpi for waiting his turn. It means nothing now.

And honestly this thread is pretty useless now. They’ve clearly made their choice. The only remaining question is a long term one, Elvis or Tarasov? Korpi will be moving on either at the deadline or the offseason.
