Thats a bummer.. When I think of Venom PG-13 isn't what I'd expect.

it was billed as hard R horror.action movie

Figured Deadpool's success would let movie studios know it's possible to have an R rated movie that still makes tons of $$$. Guess not

Like often you are wrong. They are trying to push what a PG-13 movie can contain if not it will be an R rated movie, the director does not even know what it will end up receiving by the board that does rating.

Early reviews arent very good. They seem to like Hardy but not the movie

With the first impressions coming in, I am thrilled that people are saying it retains the Lethal-Protector/Marvel-Adventures tonal contrast of Eddie/Venom’s terrible laugh-at-him-not-with-him sense of humor and the whole being a scary alien monster.

Insane that they’re launching a franchise with that version of Venom, but I am all for it.

I wish Marvel Studios had made this. I fully expect it to go the way of the Garfield Spiderman films. disregarded in a few years and eventually finds its way back to Marvel

Ugh. IMDb has it at only a 7.2/10 before it even fully hits theaters and their ratings almost always trend downwards with time.
