I actually like the look of our top-6 with Pavelski. It’s more of a natural fit for everybody.

Meier-Couture-Nyquist
Kane-Hertl-Donskoi

Obviously Pavelski is the caliber of player that you plug in and he makes everybody better even if he isn’t a natural fit, but I like these lines.

I had initially said “our lines” and then Randy Hahn mentioned Micheal Haley being in the lineup, so I had to revise it.

I honestly don’t care about the dynamics that exist in the NHL among teammates and I don’t care about what a player like Haley provides when he actively makes the team significantly worse.

The point of hockey is to win and there is nothing which a player can possibly provide that outweighs the degree to which Haley makes the team significantly worse at winning.

Nice appeal to the authority of Jim Rutherford who has single-handedly crippled his team for years to come by acquiring players like Jack Johnson and the aforementioned Gudbranson and trading 1st round picks for players like Ryan Reaves.
How does he make the team significantly worse at winning? Their record with him in the line up has been solid.

Hopefully the first of about 5 goals or 6 goals.

I wanna see Legace in there before the end of the night. Really wanna smear shit in the Golden Knights face, I'm also getting tired of them.
