I'm seeing that Paul Cotter has left Western Michigan and is now in the OHL with Jorday Kooy's London Knights.

Seems like a pretty good decision as he was struggling with the Broncos. Although this puts the Golden Knights in a position of having to sign him within the next few years.

'18 draft year. Originally scheduled to graduate in 2022.

Now in 2019, VGK needs to sign him or make bonafide offer (and then sign him by 6/1/20). If not signed by 6/1/20, he goes back into draft.

Wolves lose their 2nd straight game 7-2

Carr scored again
Wong gets his 1st
Bischoff and Brannstrom had assists.

Brannstrom now at 3 goals 11 points (+4) in 12 AHL games.
Bischoff has 3 assists no goals in 9 games (+2)
Hague has 2g 6pts in 14 games (+5)

gotta figure Carr or Macek get the callup if Haula is placed on retroactive IR.

Haula on IR, no call-ups as of yet.

If you want a break from football (or the MST3K marathon), CHL hockey (NHLN) on Thursday afternoon will feature the OHL London Knights (Kooy, Cotter).

Leschyshyn was just traded to the Lethbridge Hurricanes from the Regina Pats. The Pats were out of the playoff picture, but it will be interesting to see if Leschyshyn can continue his pace or be the #1 guy ahead of 2019 top prospect Cozens. Maybe Cozens will play on his wing.

and in the NCAA
Hacksaw's at it again

Xavier Bouchard was suspended 7 games for a dangerous boarding play.

and Paul Cotter has 4 points in his first 5 OHL games for the London Knights since leaving Western Michigan. Teammate Jordan Kooy has a 1.97 GAA and a .936% through 11 games.

Brännström now has 4 assists his last 2 games, which puts him up at second in production in the AHL for U29(!) defensemen(2 others are tied with him for # of points, but they have a game on him, and less goals).

He's 4th overall.

Rondbjerg expected to be on team Denmark
Patera is one of the 3 Czech goalies
in addition to Glass, Brannstrom and Elvenes being the obvious choices for Swe and Can

Happy to see Hague producing. Haven't had the chance to see him play in the AHL yet. Any impressions on his usage, skating, physicality, etc.? The famous 'eye test'!

He's coming along nicely. Just needs to get even quicker over the summer. Depending on what they decide to do with Brannstrom this season, Hague should make the opening night roster next year IMO.

As far as usage, eh, still being handled with kid gloves a bit. The Wolves tend to dress 7 D with Oligny taking the odd shift. You can never be too careful I guess. The Eagles started taking runs at Brannstrom early in the season.

He's partnered with Whitecloud and they're both heating up
