Hats the story on Macek? How’s his game?

The Wolves won 6-2 against Cleveland this afternoon.

Brooks Macek is tearing the AHL a new ******** with 8 goals. He had 2g 2a today.
Carr now has 2g 10 points in 7 AHL games.

Don't think he'll be called up before world juniors at the very least, GMGM doesn't like rushing prospects into the NHL, he'd much rather let them marinate.

Didn't stand out in preseason and I thought younger players like Duke, Quinney and Kolesar had a better camp with Vegas.

He's more likely to get a 'cup of coffee' in the NHL if he keeps scoring but I wouldn't necessarily expect him to get a callup this season.

Well, I hope McPhee steps in and puts Elvenes into the A soon... Rögle is just a trash fire right now. Soon to be 2-7-2 for dead last in the SHL, ever since Elvenes has gotten to play after being scratched he's been put on the 3rd line(was playing primarily on the 1st line until he was scratched.)

Also, turns out the conflict with his coach was the team captain yelled at the team, to which he responded that it doesn't help that the captain yells at them all the time. Coach got furious and yelled at him that you have to "respect your team captain."

No word on Morozov or Zhukov for Russia yet.

WHL-Russia game 1:

Glass took a scary looking spill into the boards, going feet first, but he finished the game and appears to be alright.

He didn't pick up a point but had a strong 2-way game, and was named the player of the game. They go again tonight, and then team Russia plays the OHL and (possibly) Ben Jones on Thurs.

Glass was one of the most visible forwards all game at both ends of the ice, but I thought he got a little too cute with some behind the back passes which led to turnovers.

I'm seeing that Paul Cotter has left Western Michigan and is now in the OHL with Jorday Kooy's London Knights.

Seems like a pretty good decision as he was struggling with the Broncos. Although this puts the Golden Knights in a position of having to sign him within the next few years.
