alright, here's match notes for tonight!
- Titans are looking to go 4-0 and try to outlast the Paris Eternal (2-0) as the final undefeated expansion team while playing a harder schedule.
- the Titans start off on Nepal, they lost that map 0-2 against Guangzhou but overall have a solid record on control maps, the Valiant also lost on Nepal in a marathon loss against the Spark.
- Kings Row is the Hybrid map, it's where we saw Bumper and Jjanu combine for a heroic victory last week, they looked dominant.
- the Titans haven't seen Horizon: Lunar Colony yet but it's a map that favours 3/3, we could see Bumper change off of Reinhart in favour of Winston here. The LA Valiant lost to Toronto on H:LC in a tough match.
- the Titans could have some trouble on Rialto, it's got a lot of ceiling space and heavily favours dive.
- the Valiant is 0-3 but their lineup includes some great players, they have one of the best off-tanks in Space, one of the best main-tanks on the competitive ladder in Fate, a a popular streamer and flex dps in Kariv, and team Canada's flex-DPS prodigy Agilities.
- the Valiant are a middle of the pack team but they have the hardest schedule of any team in stage 1, they only play great teams for the first 5 weeks of the season.
and finally, here's Stitch doing a Twitter Q&A with Danny from after the game last week.
and here's Overwatch caster and analyst Montecristo with a good analysis on the Titans creative use of Diva's self destruct ability to split up opposing teams as well as why their 3/3 is so dominant
