The Bellator card has some decent names.

This UFC card is awful, but I'm very interested in the main event. I really like Vera to win but I'll be cheering for Cruz.

Landwehr v Onama will be really fun and has FOTN written all over it. Can't say I care too much about the rest of the card.

Unfortunately I won't be around to watch much this weekend, but I'm hoping to catch the main/co-main on the UFC card at least.

Now this UFC card sucks. Last week's wasn't great on paper, mainly because of the TUF fights, but this one is worse....and....they are taking it on the road?!? Are these a bunch of local guys or something?

Chito-Cruz is a fine enough fight, but I really expect Chito to kind of dominate. I just think he's the younger, faster, stronger fighter. Cruz has 1 submission win in his entire career and there's no chance he's putting someone as durable as Chito out, so he will have to squeak out a decision in order to win this one IMO.

The only names I recognize on the PFL and Bellator cards is Rory and that there's another Gracie.

Shoutout Clayton Carpenter for the gritty rally to save my parlay. Kids tough, Dana may not give him a deal but he’ll be in the ufc eventually

Nickel made it look so easy. Not surprising as a -2800 favourite but still, he did what he needed to do.

Lol Dana is smart, getting ratings up on another contender series episode by putting Nickal on another one before giving him a contract

Carpenter, Silva, Pogues with contracts. Carpenter is now a personal favorite of mine. Thank you Clayton.

So they're bringing Nickel back to the contender series and then giving him a contract if he wins. They know he's going to win that one but just want him to get in another fight and probably some more ratings. Clearly seems like something previously negotiated with him because I don't think they do that if there's any chance he gets picked up by someone else.

He 100000% already has a contract and this is part of his development... As for the fight he looked like a -50000000000 favorite should. Seriously though not taking the quality of opponent into the equation I was pretty impressed by his speed transitioning and he could end up being the real deal.

Macfarlane weighed in at 129

Translation: I've already got one foot out the door oh well
Don't really like that ... If you're going to give a statement, at least give a reason or excuse not just "weight cuttings hard my body didn't like it so I didn't do it." Like.... Everyone else suffers to be professional and meet those obligations, why didn't you? Almost seems like a "woe is me" statement.

It's not really that uncommon for female fighters to have this happen though if their "bodily schedule" or whatever you want to call it doesn't line up with how they thought it would. I assume that's what happened here and I really don't need her to go into more any more details about that.

That being said, Macfarlane is right up there with Megan Anderson for me in terms of overhyped female fighters who are just not good. Just beating Bellator tomato cans on the way to the belt in a super weak division.

Wowww Yamauchi with an impressive win over Gracie. Stunned him in the first and then hands Gracie his first ever KO loss with a solid uppercut.
