Don't know why Gastelum felt compelled to stand and trade the whole fight. And why he kept going for double legs. If he came in and fought like a wrestler he might have stood a chance. There was no chance he was going to outstrike Adesanya. If he thought that then he's the only person, and also a little delusional.

Damn that was a great fight. Way better than the Silva fight for Adesanya. Gastelum impressed...I don't think anyone expected that headkick and it probably bought Gastelum just enough time because Adesanya was coasting at that point. The range and precision was just too much for Gastelum.

Great defense from the submission by Gastelum there, but that round was just way too unbalanced.

Yeah, a little disappointing he didn't go to his wrestling more. Stylebender was able to stuff a lot of them, but he needed to at least mix it up a little more and at least threaten the takedown.
