Just snagged HBO not long ago. Started on Watchmen, wasn't really into it as much.

I've watched all of Entourage for like the 6th time not ago and just started on Westworld. Which was good but need a break from it.

Any suggestions?

My picks for anyone interested.

Netflix
-Stranger Things - Pretty obvious for anyone with netflix.
-Russian Doll - A real trip of a show, based on time-loops. A grittier Groundhog Day.
-The Witcher - Toss a coin to your witcher, o' valley of plenty.
-Breaking Bad - Is that the dad from Malcolm in the Middle?
-Love, Death & Robots - Not a show, more like little animated shorts but some of them are pretty awesome.
-Haunting of Hill House - A pretty solid horror/thriller type of movie. But done well.
-The Umbrella Academy - My Chemical Romance singers brainchild superhero comic turned series. It's good.
-Chilling Adventures of Sabrina - Wife got me into it. It's kinda dumb but also kinda good.
-The Good Place - Such a good show about a bad women who goes to heaven... I'll just leave it there.
-Supernatural - Two whisky fueled brothers drive around the US and hunt ghosts, demons, witches and even Satan himself. Pretty sure it's on season 9 so should keep you busy.
-The 100 - Earth after nuclear war but with teen angst.
-Orange is the New Black - Women's prison show with frequent nudity.
-Glow - Show about a women's wrestling start up. Season 1 is slow. Season 2 is awesome.
-Big Mouth - An animated show that at times makes South Park feel tame.
-Altered Carbon - Far future where the rich can not only clone themselves but transfer their consciousness to other bodies.
-Master of None - Aziz Ansari being Aziz Ansari.
-Peaky Blinder- Peaky f***in Blinders.
-One Day at a Time - Harkens back to the old sitcom era but with a more modern twist.
- Locke & Key - Just finished this one, it's something fresh. Well written.
- The OA - This one is deep and you have to pay attention. Kind of ties into a larger netflix universe. It's crazy. Strap in for a wild ride and make sure you pay attention.
- Atypical - A dramady coming of age story about a teenager with autism, who loves penguins.
- 13 Reasons Why - A gritty teen angst show that deals with a lot of touchy subjects like suicide, gun violence, homosexuality, rape, sodomy, drug abuse, gang violence, alcoholism, murder and everything in between. Like Degrassi but not sugar coated.
- Shameless - A young adult tries to raise her motherless family, which includes her deadbeat dad. Very gritty series.

HBO - Still just checking out a lot of HBO
-Entourage - Show about some kids from Queens who make it in Hollywood. One of my favourites of all time.
- Westworld - In the future people are really good at making robots and use them in amusement parks where anything goes. Wild wild west.
- Boardwalk Empire - A show about an Atlantic City mobster.
- Band of Brothers - Series following Easy Company and their path throughout WWII
- The Pacific - Similar to band of brothers but in the Pacific Theatre.
- Flight of the Concords - Two guys from New Zealand move to America to further their music career, lots of funny songs mixed in.
- Eastbound & Down - An out of his luck ex-MLB pitcher moves home and does dumb shit.

Just watched one episode of The Outsider last night on Crave. Don't know where it's heading but so far it's really good!

I think MTS and Shaw should be stepping up at this time and offering one free PPV movie per week to their customers, and that includes new releases. OK, maybe they have to draw the line at porn but other than that...

Lots of good suggestions (although I would tell the person who doesn't like mobster shows to skip the Sopranos) but I haven't seen anyone suggest "The Good Place". Consistent throughout and had good series finale.

Does anyone here subscribe to Disney Plus? We got an offer of a free month and I'm wondering if it's worth it.

Your asking if it is worth free?

More like is it worth going through signing up / cancelling process. Or moreover if it's worth actually paying for. I figured I'd sign up for the freebie when the kids were home from school after this week at any rate but wanted to hear thoughts on whether or not it's a decent value for the dollar.

That was me. I gave it one episode and it didn't hold my interest.

Moving on to Chernobyl next!

How about a bunch of BellMTS channels being free previewed?

BBC Earth and NatGeo have been excellent diversions for me personally... :thumbu:

American Gods is really the only thing I've been watching lately.

Bojack Horseman, Arrested Development, and Parks and Recreation are three of my all time favorites.

Big Mouth is very crude but very funny.

I really enjoyed Undone. Same creator as Bojack and has Bob Odinkirk as a main character. Took almost the entirety of the show for it to come together but it got there.

Brooklyn Nine Nine probably has the most consistent "laugh out loud" moments I've seen in a show.

Somebody mentioned What we do in the Shadows and I'll second that one. Great show, amazing movie. There was a stretch where I was single and using Tinder where every single "let's hang out and watch a movie" was What we do in the Shadows. I can't recall a situation where it wasn't a success. And while we're talking about Taika Waititi might as well mention Jojo Rabbit which was also amazing.

Mike Tyson Mysteries on Netflix is pretty funny if you enjoy Adult Swim type cartoons. And the episodes are quite short... < 15 minutes.

While I'm thinking about animation on Netflix, there are many seasons of Archer to enjoy.

Also, One Punch Man is good stuff too, if you like Anime and laughs.
