I was sitting in Legends after the game and when Rask made that comment my table laughed
I’m disappointed in these guys and now am wondering if I should take a separate car to Providence tonight to watch baby Bruins because they don’t take this stuff serious enough
He was and I thought it was funny, and maybe it’s healthy to have that attitude and let this roll off. Just a little concerning when he’s throwing the puck back right up the middle to an opposing player or skating out like he’s known to do and getting burned. His head definitely wasn’t in it last night.I thought Rask was being tongue in cheek? He has a very dry sense of humor and I think he just tosses these comments out there sometimes for ****s and giggles.
The second I saw one of my buds who sits in 301 he smiled and said ‘moma said they’ll be days like this’I know, right? They should have been angry and ripped Tuuka, the team, Don Sweeney, Cam Neely, JJ, and the concession guy that poured their beer. Then gone home kicked their dogs and come on HF to post how crappy every thing is and how the team needs a complete rebuild. I don't blame you for being upset.

But year after year he comes out to play it and gets burned. You would think someone would have told him by now to stay in the blue paint unless there’s no one else in the zone.I’m not sure about his head not being in it? Rask has never been able to handle the puck. It’s not like that’s something new.

I would have to go back and look to be 100% certain, but I believe if he didn’t come out, the VAN player (Horvat?) would have had a breakaway.
I blame that goal just as much on Krejci and his bonehead turnover on the PP.
Yup. Sounds like is satisfied with all that he has done and cashing in his paycheque
From his play to his interviews it doesn’t look like he takes anything seriously anymore.
And what keeps threads near the top?Halak gives up 5 goals in less than 2 periods. Next morning? Halak thread remains firmly on page 2. Rask thread never drops out of the top 3 spots on page 1.
Never change hfboards.
new thread going on this topic.Any reason why he’s not at practice
Just the difference in demeanor between Rask and Halak after last nights game was night and day. Halak was serious and Rask was nonchalant and joking. It sounds like he’s dealing with something right now so it’s understandable and I think he’ll improve, but if it’s fair to criticize Krejci and his play and contract, then it’s fair to criticize Rask too. It’s been years since he’s been top 15 in save percentage.Based on what? What makes you think Tuukka Rask is mailing it in? The whole team sucked last night including Jaroslav Hasek er I mean Halak. So after every bad game Tuukka doesn't care? Did he care more Monday night against Dallas? Because what I saw in that game was an NHL goaltender in the Boston net. Last I saw of him last night, he was standing up answering questions as usual taking responsibility for what happened. Is he supposed to break down and rip his shirt open or punch a wall to show he cares more????

Probably, I actually thought it was funny when I heard the interview then it rubbed me the wrong way for some reason. This thing he’s dealing with puts things into perspective though and I give him a pass on everything, there are things more important than hockey. Now that we know Rask has something personal he's dealing with, it seems like he's handled things pretty well all things considered. I don't mind the criticism if there's something concrete, but we're not discussing absolutes here. Because Halak was serious and Rask was joking is just how two different people act to me

So they called up a forward
