Hot Damn ! Looking forward to that one ! Hopefully the lads can continue playing with some jump and discipline.

Play with discipline.... mash Malkin and Crosby's faces in.... either is fine with me!

From a quick search, this is the second Flyers regular season shutout at Ottawa. The other time was in 1999 by Beezer, also 5-0.

Awesome game by the whole team, Mason finally got the shut-out he deserved!

Gotta build on this, this team needs nice winning streak dammit!

Best effort I've witnessed from this team in a long, long time. Positive contributions from all 4 lines. Amazing how much better their legs looked when they didn't have to spend 14-18 minutes killing early penalties. Mason is great at steering pucks and killing other teams offensive flow.

Yeah, it is probably being downplayed here how important it is that they were disciplined and didn't get massacred by bad calls. Rarely do both those things happen with this team.

So where has this team been all season? Man, I'm ticked I missed watching this on SportsNet (had my own hockey game tonight). When I left, the Flyers were buzzing around the Senators' zone, but they weren't generating many chances. I thought it was going to be another game where they come out and go all ADHD, but can't score. A 60-minute effort is fabulous, and they could have had a few more if Anderson hadn't stood tall.

Imagine: not only does a Flyers goalie put up a shutout, but it wasn't even an effort. Nice to see!

The Flyers only gave the puck away 5 times tonight compared to Ottawa who gave it away 20 times, hopefully we can continue to cut down our mistakes.

The 4th line also played really well tonight.

Rinaldo- 11:20
Hall- 11:14
Rosehill- 8:40

They dished out 11 hits (Rinaldo 6, Rosehill 5, & Hall 0) & had zero penalties.
