DEK hockey comes to Tucson....

That is an interesting looking surface. I am used to playing on asphalt.

Had our first TAHL game on it Wednesday night, really nice sheet. Season tickets available for pick-up today at 3pm during fan fest, probably going to get an extra 'Back to Hockey' package with 2 more tickets for opening night, 4 extra ticket vouchers and a replica jersey for $190.

Nice event, picked up our tickets and bought that extra 6 tickets/jersey package. Everybody buying the package got a spin for a voucher at the clearance counter and we got $50. The GF loaded up with RR shorts, tank top, t-shirt and scarf and I got a cooler bag, we differ on game day priorities obviously.... When they saw the ticket package voucher they stopped counting at $50 and just said that covers it. Very cool.

Roadrunners first preseason tonight vs Iowa Wild. Currently 2-0 Tucson in the 3rd. Alberga and Bunting scored. Really rooting for Bunting, I hope he gets a callup.

I'm hoping this new AHL Live lives up to the hype. This weekend will be free as long as you have an AHL Live account. I just might subscribe, $60 for all games of one team. And I think it might be a bit cheaper for the Pacific division teams since they play a few less games.

So Dominic Alberga is still in Tucson on a Norfolk contract, may get signed before Saturday depending on Dvorak's status and Dauphin or Kempe making it back through waivers. Looks like Murphy made it through.

KEL has an AHL only contract.... that’s why.
