I like him, but am I the only one feeling he is somewhat inconsistent/has too many gaffes for my liking? I would rank him after Niku and Pionk(?).
Still, I would start with him in the line up on #3RD, and hope he cleans up his game.

What's interesting is that Poolman is over 2 years older than Pionk and is a year older than Trouba who is going into his 7th NHL season! Poolman will already be 27 as hockey is still being played come next June!

Poolman's the same age today as Buff and Enstrom were when the Thrashers moved to Winnipeg. He's older than Little, Wheeler and Ladd were at the time.

Poolman's always been about two years behind his peers. Stayed in junior after high school for extra time, joined UND later, signed his first pro contract later. Throughout his entire career so far, he's been a late bloomer.

Not sure if there is another Poolman thread. What’s his status? I thought he was on a road trip awhile back before the ASG and almost ready to play. Did he have a set back? Any time line on his return?
