Which is absolutely fine if either plays there. Good on the organization. They are just willing to pay him or Morrow this season a lot of money to play for the Moose.

Chiarot is a UFA after this season and I don't see Chevy willing to pay him what Chiarot will want.I don't see it looks that way at all.
Chiarot also gives side versatility and he has improved each year, for bottom end guy you could do worse.
Poolman is now essentially set for life with this contract at close to $2.5 million over the 3 years.Im sure he likes the idea of being locked in for 3 years on a cup contender, that is only 2 hours from his home town. So he probably could have made more money over the 3 years by betting on himself and just doing a 1 year deal but probably has different priorities with this signing.
That comment could be said for almost every player, situation though.Chiarot is a UFA after this season and I don't see Chevy willing to pay him what Chiarot will want.
The proverbial other side of the fence.Well this guarantees him 2.3 Million in Salary regardless of how he plays. Signing 1 year deals might net you more money long term but that is only if you perform and if you don't get injured

Looks like this spells the end of Ben Chiarot after this season, and maybe even to start this season.
Which means there is just one salary amount regardless of where a player plays. Its a 1 way.
Why?They are just willing to pay him or Morrow this season a lot of money to play for the Moose.
As in the past years there will be injuries with these group of d men, always good to have capable 7-9 d men that can step in for a few weeks, I don't know what Poolman's ceiling will be but this is a very good signing.
We will be in good shape Sami Niku available now and in the near future will be Dylan Samberg, Jacob Cederholm and Logan Stanley.
Defence is not a problem.
$775k for 3 years. Guessing he sees himself in roughly the same role next year?
Well he had a bad year two years ago and was injured last year. This year should be fun to watch him play as he's had a rough few years and should only get better.Don't forget about Luke Green, doesn't get as much love as he should around here.
I think the Jets want some cushion and I think that makes sense. If Morrissey is amenable to good fair long term deal then I think the Jets move on from someone and still think 85 is a likely option for that.I bet Petan and Dano get similar money and that will leave 5-6 million for Jmo long term deal.
