Sounds about right to me.

I'd probably swap Korshkov with Valiev but overall the list seems fine to me.

I agree that Korshkov deserves to be on this list over Valiev.

I have Bracco and Grundstrom higher and as better prospects than Leipsic and Rychel. Leipsic and Rychel are closer to the NHL but i think Bracco and Grundstrom have much higher ceilings.

Leafs have supplemented their top 10 prospects through trades and UFA signings to strengthen its prospect pool.

Early drafting results not showing the impact expected from Leafs new scouting team. Drafting improvement potential here.

People are so wrong on Korshkov. Wonder how everyone reacts when he walks into the lineup in 2018-19 and pots nearly 50 points.

Show me teams that have multiple non-first round guys who have broken in successfully from the 2015 and 2016 drafts.

I like that Dermott is at the top of the list, but would prefer to see more higher end D prospects.

Exactly, we already have guys like Dermott, Nielsen, Timashov and Grundstrom on the Marlies who could see games as early as next season, with Dermott having a chance of actually making the team.

Leipsic and Rychel are our #2,#3 prospects?:laugh:

TSN went for NHL readiness as the biggest factor. I would take grundstrom over any forward listed ahead of him. I hope Leipsic goes to vegas because Rychel brings an element we don't have a lot of in our pool

ARE YOU ****ING KIDDING ME HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF MATTHEWS AND MARNER?

Jesus ****ing Christ Mess. That is just ****ing incredible.

You really have to look at what you just said and check yourself man. It's an incredible level of self-delusion.

So, Dermott as the number one prospect on the list, plus Bracco, Grundstrom and Nielsen from the two Hunter drafts is not good enough for you? And then there's Marner and, what's his name from Arizona, oh yeah, that Matthews kid?

You have a tendency to twist just about anything so it will fit your sometimes strange narratives.

PS. How many NHLers do you think will emerge from a typical draft year for a team?

That seems... strange to say the least. Leispic and Rychel especially. Also a few of those guys after 5 I'd have before Rosen for sure and maybe Borgman. Korshkov is certainly a top 10 prospect for us too.

Should've drafted Barzal. He'd be number one of that list right now.

Not that bad of a list, though I don't think Valiev should be in there at #10

That's to garner reaction from fans because one of them is most likely going to vegas

Well, is not that outlandish - I'd probably would have both in a top ten list for the Leafs. Both guys are looking to be NHL regulars and have just came off good seasons in a pro leagueS

 Yeah, it's pretty funny. The Leafs thought so much of both that they left them exposed and protected Matt Martin instead.

Our top 4 guys in my mind are Kapanen, Dermott, Korshkov, and Grundstrom, in no particular order.

The rest are all a tier below.

Korshkov is so underrated. Id take him over everyone on this list not named Dermott.

id rate Korshkov and Grundstrom as best 2 F prospects currently. Almost equal, grundstrom came over to the AHL and scored some goals in the playoffs and was one of the best forwards in a couple of the games.
