Hello everyone. I will be making a brief visit in Pittsburgh in September (23rd-24th) with my friend. Penguins seems to have a pre-season game against Detroit on Sunday 23rd and we were thinking of attending but when I tried to search for tickets on Stubhub but couldn't find any on sale (other pre-season games seemed to have tickets available though). Already sold out? Are there any other reliable sites to buy tickets? I'd appreciate any help to get tickets.
Poor kid.Greetings, Blues fan here. I'm taking my son on a hockey tour for Spring Break his senior year, and this includes a stop for the Penguins game. I haven't been to Pittsburgh before, but we are extremely excited for this.
We plan to spend a day or two around town, and then sitting on the glass (my first time doing this) for the game. Thanks in advance for any responses.
1) Any game day events or locations I should be sure to see?
2) Anything noteworthy around town you'd recommend we check out? (I'm not taking him out drinking.)

Porter ended their route to Pittsburgh via Toronto so it is Air Canada or drive for me now from MontréalI've been to Pittsburgh twice but feel I've done a lot there, looking at the fact Heathrow will be doing flights from there in the future. Might have to plan a return.

My girl and I are coming to Pittsburgh for the MTL game and I was wondering if there are any helpful tips you could share (parking, eating, shopping, extra curriculars, etc.) that would be greatly appreciated. We are staying at a place near the zoo. Thanks in advance and go Pens!

Grist House is great. How's Strange Roots since changing from Drai Laag?If you wanna go drinking, Arsenal Cider House is great if you're into that - if you're into craft beer, there's a nice little cluster of breweries just across the river from you in Dancing Gnome/Grist House/Strange Roots/Hitchhiker. Cinderlands (by Arsenal) is pretty good too.

You are in Lawrenceville if near the zoo. The most changed neighborhood in Pittsburgh in the last five or so years. I love Gaucho Parilla also as mentioned above but so many more.
We love so many there.
Piccolo Forno:
Welcome
Is great, homemade pasta and wonderful pizza, reasonable and a BYOB place with an inexpensive corkage fee.
Poulet Bleu:
Home
Is a great french bistro near there.
Just so many great choices.
Nice I loved the soursI found it pretty much the same, which is a good thing in my book. Slightly expanded beer list, but its still a lot of sours and weird flavours.
