Camp is open, might as well start a new thread to bitch about it.

Also, if anyone has made the trip post your stories here!

I'll start - stupid TM going with the same old lines.

Fiala – PLD - Kaliyev/rookie
Moore – Danault – Arvidsson

I'd love to see Turcotte get a shot with Fiala and PLD.

It's do or die this year for Turcotte. Hope the kid stays healthy and pushes for a spot.

Arty has generally choked when placed on a scoring line. I hope this time is different, as there won't be much in the way of excuses if he plays poorly. It's no longer the situation that he's usually on the 4th line and is occasionally moved up - he's been put with what may be the two best all-around offensive talents on the team right off the bat.

He's RFA next year, there literally can't be any more incentive for him to put it all together. One simply cannot be put in a better spot to succeed. We know he has the talent, but this is the year he can show that he's more than a PP specialist. From all indications he'll be given a pretty long shot there. Just do it Arty.

Englund ahead of Bjornfot as some of us have suggested.

If Bjornfot doesn't have a good camp he may be spending his entire season in the AHL.

I Like Kaliyev with Fiala and PLD , other teams will have to focus on Fiala and PLD leaving Arty to one time it, and having a great shot should allow him to succeed there.

They have to put Englund in ahead of TB - there is not one player besides two guys making over 13 million combined (Kempe and PLD) that can fight.

The D is soft as crap - though Gavrikov is tall, he's not strong or overly physical. Roy is really the only bully on D and he has 4 career fights, 3 of them in the AHL and one in college/USHL.

I sat glass to two playoff games in Vegas - one against Edmonton and one against Florida and the Kings couldn't hang physically with either of those teams from what I saw. Lomberg, Bennett, Tkachuk, Gudas vs Hague, Carrier, McNabb, Kolesar.

Kings don't have one player as tough as any mentioned besides Englund and Doty, who doesn't even have an NHL contract.

You can argue PLD is our new Tkachuk - but Matthew had Lomberg, Gudas, Bennett to back him up and even Giavani Smith in the regular season. Who does PL have?

I expect Mikey to develop his physical game more this year. He doesn’t seem the type to seek guys out to throw down, but he can be nasty.
