Why?

I'm not much of a Forbort fan, but his "skill set" -- shot blocking and PK specialist -- adds a dimension to the defensive corps they otherwise lack. For that reason, I don't think the B's would trade him.

Reilly not only has value as a smooth passing offensive D, but he also makes relatively $$ dough (yes, so does Forbort), and Gryz shares his skill set and is a better player overall.

That would be great for all concerned.

Torts has turned locker room's around before, but his comments earlier in preseason suggest he's got a lot of work to do. Nick could really help with that. Simmonds (sic) can threaten the recalcitrant, too.
I said maybe Forbort of Reilly is not claimed. If Reilly could be had for free and teams pass, then I doubt a team would trade for him, but maybe they would for Forbort.
