Why is Johnson the guy with the spot and Smith the insurance? Why not the other way around?
The same page has Lafrenière as 6'1", 193, so even those might not be the most up-to-date stats.According to the Ranger site, Barron is up to 6'4" and 220

It doesn't look like camp will be televised based on my peek of the MSG television schedule.

Normally no, but we all know Day to Days can turn into...many many days..Is day-to-day a big worry when there are still two weeks till the season starts?

he just landed in NY a few days ago.
it’s almost 100% tied to mandatory quarantine
Hopefully that's all it is, but why don't they just come out and say that?he just landed in NY a few days ago.

Miller, Reunanen or Hajek have about an equal chance.
It's pretty annoying but the league and PA agreed to it for the duration of the camp, so what can ya do...Honestly, I can't stand how secretive the NHL is about this stuff.

I think Reunanen is at a disadvantage since there will be no PS games. He is remarkably poised under heavy pressure. Practice/scrimmages are always more sloppy and less structured.

nvm misreadReunanen also impressed in last years camp. Quinn and his staff liked him then so he isn’t an unknown. I would imagine that, given equal playing in camp, Hajek and Reunanen start with the team. The left side last 2 spots probably are a fight between Smith, Johnson, Reunanen and Hajek for now with Miller needing to force the issue. Smith can rotate over to RD in a pinch as needed but that would be my guess for the 8D.
on the other hand, he’s actually been playing competitive hockey this year.
his game should be crisper than those who haven’t played in months
