Schwartz or Hyman would be awesome... They will only cost $

I like our prospect pool as it is right now. I wouldn't give up on Guhle or Romanov unless we receive a really attractive offer.

Of course, I'd be willing to move Poehling (I really like him but too many centers) + D prospect + 1st round pick 2021 for a good asset.

Schwartz as a replacement for Drouin would be great.

Seth Jones to Montreal would be insane.

But a 1st rounder, one of our young centers and a good prospect would need to go the other way for Jones. Don't know if it is worth it.

I like our Center line.

3 years down the road with more experience.

Also really impressed with Farell, but feel he'd be more a Marner light.
Playmaking winger who disappears come playoff time.

Knowing Bergevin, I'd forget Jones, he won't give up what he'll cost.

Unless Bergevin is canned, but given the actual situation, I'd forget that too.

A RFA I'd really like is Tyler Bertuzzi, may not be the most skilled but in the same mold as Hyman, he'd complement our skilled centers so damn well. Can't see why Detroit would trade him, but hey.

Not a fan of Bourgault. Far from it...

We will trade that first round pick anyways.. So It doesn't matter who we think the habs will select.

Otherwise, I would I have liked Oskar Olausson at the end of the first round.

Why are we trading the first round pick?

Because we want to get better NOW

And in all the seasons of Bergevin trying to win now, when have we traded our 1st?

Far from a guarantee that the pick gets moved. I think it's quite likely we hold onto it.

People need to remember that Jones is UFA at the end of the year which brings his value down.

Eller was even lankier than KK at the same age.

If we end up losing Danault you think we could bring back Eller to play on the third line? You know how hes played lately? I haven't kept up with him since he was traded.

Nah, he wont come back with Bergevin IMO. Hes been as good as ever IMO. Perfect 3C. Cheap, reliable and steps up when needed.

The thing is, those are easy(ish) to acquire.

Am I wrong here... (not that I like talking about this right now) but a Habs fan on the main board said he wouldn't trade Price for Marner.

Am I wrong in thinking that I would do that 100 times out of 100?

We already have Weber and Petry on right side already

Steep for a guy that has struggled and publicly stated he wants to test free agency. Also, he's a RD and makes 5.4. Not sure it would be something I would go after unless I'm looking to move Weber to Seattle or something.

This might actually be the worst trade proposal I’ve ever seen and that’s saying a lot!
I would agree. Just buy out his contract and swallow the cap hit. This trade proposal just compounds what was a bad trade to start with.
