vs.

http://www.hockeysfuture.com/prospects/max_sauve/

Looks like we picked up someone who is closer to being NHL ready for 4th line duties for a prospect who wasn't quite hitting his 2nd/3rd line potential and probably wasn't 4th line material.

Flick needs to control himself , Cut down the stupid penalties and improve his defense before he can think about NHL

Hawks will want Suave for the Hogs playoff run.. Need more talent and less idiots on team

All I keep thinking about is that 1 character on a tv show or movie whos name was Flick

The idea of trading skill for a goon doesn't work for me. Not that it's a bad trade here since Suave seems to be going nowhere with his career.... but goons are essentially waived daily and free.

Plus if we wanted a pure goon like this guy, why not go for a bigger goon with some skill to replace Thornton?

skill that is rarely seen due to injury isn`t really something that the PB`s will miss

Could trade for a more effective goon then. Or trade perhaps for a different legitimate prospect in need of a change of scenery.

Some teams will always be interested in a Suave just for the potential.

well, I`ll trust Chia, if a goon is all he could snag for Sauve, I`ll wager the market for an oft injured but skilled forward is slim right now

Just finished a convo with his best buddy from London. Told me he's a total nut but great off the ice, and can go through a tin of chaw faster than anyone he knows. So there's that.. also said he loves starting bench brawls. Hahaha

Little known movie facts:

Melinda Dillon, who played Ralphie's mom, was topless in the movie Slap Shot (she played Hanrahan's ex-wife).

Also, the actor who played Flick, Scott Schwartz, turned to porn in the 90's when he couldn't find work as a mainstream actor. He left the industry in 2000, and directed a Pauly Shore movie in 2002.

The more you know.......
