Dzingel is the guy they need to move soon or else risk being left holding the bag. There are way too many top 6 forwards available.

If a 1st isn't on the table, just pay him the 5*5 he wants. Apparently the Sens offered him 5 years around 4M AAV.

I bet it's something like a 2nd+Honka from DAL for Dzingel. It would coincide with Lajoie being sent down. While Lajoie should be in the AHL, sending him down goes against everything else we have done like calling up Batherson+Brown. Makes me think a replacement is coming in a trade.

If we are lucky, it'll be the Evander Kane return in that the 2nd upgrades to a 1st. It would.be complicated since DAL does not have a 2020 2nd, but I guess it could be a 2021 2nd if Dzingel walks or a 2020 1st if he re-signs.

Yeah but were trading Dzingel and Stone 99% sure. Even when trading Karlsson getting Braun would have been a HUGE help to this team this year.

Murray would have gotten a defenseman a while ago and probably paid as high as a second for one with term.
