If reports of up to 8 teams being in on Stone were accurate, losing a couple doesn't hurt, it just weeds out the pretenders. Teams moving on to other options means fewer options available for the teams still in; Vegas and Nashville see their competition getting better, maybe it's enough to make them push their chips in. All it takes is two bidders remaining to play against one another.

That said, I won't be surprised if we do end up waiting too long, we just aren't there yet imo.
