I would hope so. Eberle is a better player, younger, and on a long term contract. Edmonton would never make this offer though -- especially for an unsigned Ryan.

If we ship Neil out around the deadline, what is his worth?

He's a solid 4th liner (borderline 3rd liner) who can chip in on the scoresheet, drop the gloves, or be a pest.

Would a playoff contender be willing to spare a 3rd rounder? 4th?
