I get Perry and Kesler buyouts but in what world is Getzlaf a buyout candidate? Teams would line up to acquire him.

That sounds too good to be true.

If that's how LAK views Getzlaf, then jump in and attempt an Armia-style deal. I seriously doubt it, but you never know.

According RDS.ca, Huberdeau is on the market. Though it may only be to get Panarin and Bobrovski from Columbus. Would be interesting to see what we'd have to give up to get Huberdeau. Columbus wants roster players, so it may not be a match.

I might trade Suzuki, Primeau, Ylonen, Ikonen, 1st, 2nd's, Lindgren, etc... depending on how young and with what Term/Cap hit we get a player in return.

I may be in the minority, but I’d move a first and top prospect, like a Poehling, for a locked up Huberdeau. In a heartbeat.

Huberdeau is the Panthers's highest paid player (tied with Barkov). If they're thinking of adding Panarin, they'll need to clear some space.

Make sense for Florida and Columbus to talk about a Panarin for Huberdeau type of trade.

I think the blue jackets want huberdeau coming the other way. In that case, we'd have to come in as a 3rd team. And, we'd have to give Columbus, who are in win-now mode, something that they value more than Huberdeau.
