IMO, they should have kept Semin. Even though he didn't do much offensively, at least everybody got to play in their proper spot. Byron and DSP played on the 4th line with Mitchell/Flynn while DD was able to play where he belongs, on the third line where he and his line mates had a lot of success early on. Semin didn't seem to drag Galchenyuk and Eller down too much as he was still a decent enough threat out there.

Habs may not need to break the bank to find a better replacement for Semin and have all the pieces falling back where they belong. Perhaps Vrbata could be had cheap and would be a more than suitable replacement for Semin to play on Galchenyuk's wing.

This also seems like typical type of move that Bergevin would do. If RyJo is indeed available, their will be 29 teams calling and there will be a bidding war for sure. Same for Stamkos if he's ever available.

When everyone's back and healthy, lets hope that Therrien goes back to the style of play the Habs had with their great start and lets especially hope that he will revert back to the lines he had early on with hopefully a new player acquired to play on the second line with Chucky.
