We need to keep David Savard unless the offer is too good to refuse for Hughes. He is so good with our young defense, the man is a Viking warrior back there.

Agree 100%. There is either going to be value in moving him because the offer is too good not to pass up and there is value in holding onto him because he's been real good for some of the young D, in partucular Guhle and now Xhekaj.

You can kick the can down the road in moving him either in the summer or next year.

If the Habs move Price, how does there, if at all f*** with their cap ?

The habs wont move Price until summer 2025. He'll be easy to move after july 1st 2025.

Its a good thing Hughes made his big sellers move early then. Monahan probably gets a 1st now, but may not get it without retention or something else going the other way. Hughes can now just set his price and if the market doesn't come to him, then there's no great loss.
