Oh, I can just see MB screwing this up royally. Trades Domi for something other than a center and then loses malcontent a Danault through trade or UFA. And then an embarrassment of riches at center turns into where can we get a center. What a shame Danault doesn't want to stay 3rd C. He's an elite 3rd centerman, our team would be stacked at C with him.
But NOOOO it's too good to be true.

If Toronto could get what they got for Krapanen... Domi is worth way more than that.
He didn't say he prefers. He said it would influence his decision of re-signing with the Habs. That doesn’t change anything, he doesn’t choose where he play and it’s normal that a player prefer to play top line minutes with the best players then on a defensive 3rd line.

If he wants to win a cup in his lifetime, he needs to accept his role as a 3rd C.That doesn’t change anything, he doesn’t choose where he play and it’s normal that a player prefer to play top line minutes with the best players then on a defensive 3rd line.
I remember a few people claiming they wouldnt trade Domi for him straight up but most people knew they were being homers.

One man's dream is another man's nightmare. I prefer Penelope Cruz, Selma Hayak, Scarlett JohanssonImagine a top line of Hoffman - Suzuki - Laine.... a man can dream
