The question is now can we compete with other buyers offers without picks ? I don't think so. The best top6 guys will be traded elsewhere imho.

Agree there's little chance they get a top target. It'll end up being a guy like Vanek, but that's not the end of the world. Not saying him specifically. Just someone to continue to push Val Nichushkin and Ritchie down the depth chart so that even with injuries, they're out.

Wishfully thinking he could talk to NY again and look at Hayes. With the conditional picks we keep from the Zucc trade being available along with prospects but I don’t see it happening.

That's why I was talking about roster players for very minor pieces the other day. I don't really want to see them throwing around top prospects for rentals. That's a scary thought.
