Question, Buffalo offers Kane for Beaulieu. Do you do it?

He has to be better than Flynn, Mitchell, Andrighetto or McCarron. Shouldn't be too hard.

He might be better than Mitchell given how Mitchell's play has completely imploded, but I think Ott has like a .27 GF/GA ratio.

Ideally he doesn't play much and somehow helps the team on faceoffs in practice, like Malhotra, I suppose.

agreed. and buffalo need nhl ready defencemen so could be a fit for Beaulieu or Emelin. + Mccaron and pick

Kane is older now though and the Habs have a lot of vets in their room. I don't think "character issues" would be an issue.

Yes, but it'd be disappointing to miss out on Galchenyuk, Beaulieu and Kane on the same team.

Yes. I'd do it. Dangle the playoff carrot in front of Kane's face and hopefully he'll straighten out. Lots of talent.

I never want us to make panic moves, but this deadline is one where we HAVE to do something reasonably big if we want any hope to make noise or even make the playoffs. The current roster as it stands is not enough. Not even close.

Evander Kane makes a lot of senses for the Habs if he's available.
Only under contract for next years which also makes senses for the Habs
Buffalo gave up Strafford + 2 prospects + 1st round pick back in the days
