So the Panthers more or less move sideways in goal, and meanwhile their biggest lacking, offense, doesn't really get addressed except with a prospect that couldn't make his numbers work for Chicago.

This trade deadline is meaningless for me. Nothing really available in free agency either from what I've heard.

thats ridiculous thomas has MAYBE one more year while luongo has 4-5

If someone told me the Panthers could get Thomas quality goaltending for 3-4 more years, I would be happy with that.

They wouldn't have gotten it from Thomas unfortunately.

They will from Luongo.

Noone in their right mind would have expected the Panthers (arguably the worst team in the league) to ADD at the deadline... and yet, they did.

My prediction is that we'll see more moves from Tallon at the draft.
