Orpik almost never fights, hasn't won a fight in years. Cooke is a gutless, backstabbing little ****.

Everyone except Pens fans hate him and Ulf. Shocker to see only fans of the teams Ulf/Cooke been on thinking they are tough in anyway.
I loved the early 90's Blackhawks.
I know they were not the toughest team ever but they had quite a few tough guys.
Mike Peluso
Stu Grimson
Chris Chelios
Steve Smith
Bryan Marchment
Cam Russell
I will say the 70s flyers, vityaz is the toughest russian team and for right now i will say the toughest nhl teams are dallas and the flyers
Vityaz Chekhov.
2010-2011 Stars! Oh wait.

The Bruins pound for pound are the toughest team in the league, many may disagree (even their own fans) because they tend to play disciplined, but pound for pound there isnt a team in the league that can stand up to all of our guys and beat us down
Lucic
Chara
Thornton
Campbell (who's recently become a much better with thornton's help, and he's a tough ******* either way)
Horton
Ference
Stuart
Mcquaid
Boychuck
Hell, even bergeron can throw em, so can rex, and krejci cut up cammalleri's head earlier this season
the only team that comes close would be Pittsburgh, a line brawl would be pretty interesting to watch.
The Don Cherry bruins had a few cheap shot specialists too, but since they're your team they're OK, right?
Bruins coached by Don Cherry.
The Broad Street Bullies (74-75 & 75-76) team is the face of the Flyer's franchise but I think the Baby Bullies (86-87) was the toughest Flyer's team.
Dave Brown
Rick Tocchett
Glen Cochrane
Ed Hospador
Brad McCrimmon
Rich & Ron Sutter
No doubt about it, the 2011 Bruins are the toughest SOB's in the league. I mean the way they beat the hell out of Hamrlik, Spacek and Pyatt last night was something to behold. All hail the Bruins warriors.
Was gonna say the same thing. Then I read the thread, so I'm going with the 1982 New York Islanders, to include:
Brent Sutter
Duane Sutter
Denis Potvin
Billy Smith
Gord Lane
Bob Nystrom

Not the toughest by any means, but the Canucks got pretty greasy in the late 90s. In 97-98 they had the following players suit up for them:
Donald Brashear
Gino Odjick
Brad May
Enrico Ciccone
Dave Scatchard
Scott Walker
Chris McAllister
Jamie Huscroft
Actually that may be top 3.
Brash, Odjick, McAllister and Chico were all legit heavies. Most teams don't have guys that good in their lineup over a 3-5 year period, never mind at the same time.
