I think he signs, and leaves some money on the table, similar to Bergie, March, and Pasta.I really hope they keep Krug. He's a leader on the ice and has skills no one else does. A defense led by him, Carlo, and MvAvoy is a recipe for success in the post-Chara era.

two nights ago was scoreless.... no Krug to feast on
I have little confidence in Krug able to handle a big strong team like CBJ or Capitals come playoff time. Also little confidence able to retrieve the puck and make a sound play against fast skating teams like the Leafs and Tampa
Alot of his weaknesses this season has been masked by Brandon Carlo worldly defensive capabilities. No way he can bail him out consistently in a do or die type pressure of the playoffs
How's that crow taste?
Elite offensively. Solid defensively. Plays with guts, heart and courage. Heck of a hockey player.
Vs Leafs and CBJ was a very good testing ground for Krug... he survived and then some
Also this means his price tag is rising per series
Not yet sir... after the finals will do
But Krug has looked much better with Carlo by his side
Night and day difference
Give credit to Krug for a good playoffs also
Agreed! Krug seems to love it here and is a leader in the locker room. Definitely someone we should explore keeping, not trading.27 minutes in Game 4. Guy's playing like a #1 defenceman. Arguably the best PP quarterback in hockey and a top notch character by all accounts. Would love to see him play his entire career in Boston.
I think Krug took a few pages from the Marchand book.
Money aside. I know that’s a huge thing. But yeah I don’t like trading good players for the sake of signing other players unless you have no choice. They have ways of getting around it. Do we remember the Boychuk mess.Agreed! Krug seems to love it here and is a leader in the locker room. Definitely someone we should explore keeping, not trading.
