Really? Both were deemed responsible for playoff failures and chased out of town. They were replaced with progressively worse goalies every year.
Terrible response.

So it wasn't the goalies responsible for the continued playoff failures? I was told it was combination of being "goalied" and random luck and not shit team construction. Which is it?

Leaf’s probably thought the same thing when they signed Dell last year . I think he’s about 50 /50 to get claimed . Goalie carousel in the nhl is comical at times .

It was two years back. It was a shame, too, cause Dell's Leafs gear looked amazing.

Martin had a very good year last year with a 27-13-3 record. Hope he carries it over to toronto.

And a .886 save % when the league average was .899.
