Here is the problem with the Montreal.

If we add a good defensive center then Toffoli-Suzuki-CC can go to on and score like their pants on fire....

So this is possible....

Suzuki - 75+
Toffoli - 65+
Caufield - 65+
Hoffman - 55
Petry - 45

If our top line has to play hard defensive minutes then take away 10-15 points from that line.

Boeser 38 - 32 - 70

Fox is averaging about 59 points per 82 games through two seasons, and the first season he was third pair and second PP for most of the season. He won’t have 55 points, barring him missing a significant number of games.

Zibanejad will be over 1PPG. Last season he started slow due to COVID and still paced for 73 points over a full season. It’s hard to believe he wouldn’t be better than last season.

The Lafreniere total is about five points too low, the Kakko total five points too high. Strome or the new 2C will be top five in points, and the Panarin total is about 10 points too low.

I chose 70 games because I just assume that all players will miss a few games due to injury. If you assume a full 82 games played, your guess will almost always shoot high.
No fair enough. I’d guess that the amount of games played by a teams top 5 scorers would be much closer to 80 than 70 though

For TB:

1. Kucherov - 110
2. Point - 90
3. Stamkos - 70
4. Hedman - 60
5. Palat - 55

I think McDavid breaks 130 his year for the Art Ross. Kucherov probably comes second or third, depending on Draisaitl's year.

Without first unit PP time it’s highly unlikely and Edmonton had by far the best PP last year so he’s not seeing that unit. Not many 29 year olds improve their career high scoring pace by 15% especially when he’s already played with elite linemates. I mean anything can happen but we are trying to predict what is likely.

He likely will get a crack on our first PP as net front presence. We rotated Chiasson, Puju and Neal in that role. This year it’ll be his to lose.

Yotes will be interesting. The belief is that Kessel has already played his last game for the team so I don't think you can include him in the list.

Top 4 guys shouldn't be much of a consideration
1 Keller - 59
2 Chychrun - 52
3 Schmaltz - 50
4 Dvorak - 47

5th place could go to a whole list of guys. Gostisbehere and Jaskin would be the next two logical ones but a guy like Crouse could surprise given more opportunity with a more offensively minded coach.
