I am no expert...But I find that you all rank Nygren way too low.

Find it sickening that our 2nd pick of the whole draft falls at 12. We could've done far better. On the other hand, thanks to Fucale we now have a really good group of goaltenders. Fucale, Condon and Tokarski is really good going forward.

Yup, serious. I don't think Tinordi, Beaulieu and Kristo have a ton of upside. Our best young players in their twenties are already in the NHL.
You know you're talking about upside right? Beaulieu is the guy with the most upside in all of the Montréal prospects, in that regard he's by far our best prospect. Whether he'll hit his potential is a different answer though, no offense but I don't think your list is very good. Especially with the season Beaulieu had in the AHL.
In the Beaulieu games I've seen, in Hamilton and at the WJC, he's been inconsistent. Great skater, good hands. Good wingspan, but more stork-like than solid physically. I see him as a bit of a tweener - not quite creative enough to be a top producing D, but also doesn't see the game like a minute eating, safe D. That said, he probably has enough tools to make it in some capacity, hence #7 on my list. I just don't see huge upside.

Out of curiosity, what do you expect of Hudon?
Man, you put Hudon in first. Nygren before Collberg and Beaulieu. Doesn't make sense, sorry.
I hope he can bring enough creativity, quickness, chutzpah and smarts to the pros to be a factor both offensively and defensively. I'm encouraged that he made Team Canada's u20 team already (the list of players who have made the team at 18 years old is a very good one). He outperformed some older and more hyped prospects in his Hamilton stint. The concern is injuries.
Not sure what you're talking about with the injury concerns, he certainly has the hockey IQ to turn into a good defensive player. Even then he will always be someone who likes to take risks, sometimes those risks will create turnovers. Beaulieu is a great skater, you rarely see a defender who's that smooth of a skater. He also has very good hockey sense, his positioning defensively needs work but it will improve as he gets older. You also have to remember that he's only 20 years old and entered the AHL at 19 years old. Also I don't think there's no question his offensive game treanslates to the pros.
I think you are confusing two of my posts - the one you quoted, mentioning injuries and a lot of positives was about Hudon.
As for Beaulieu, you're partly right, he was a young NHL'er, but he was 20 for most of last season (Dec 5th birthday). From what I've seen, his hockey IQ isn't exceptional. I hope I'm wrong.
