This better be a slam dunk “they couldn’t say no deal”. Makes no sense otherwise. Productive two way guy who can score with term on a reasonable number. One of the last veterans I would trade, unless of course it’s a jackpot. I don’t necessarily think 20th overall and Pelletier is a slam dunk.

20th OA would be absolutely perfect. There are a few prospects I wouldn't mind grabbing with that pick. Good area to get a second 1st.

He's a 25 goal guy. Might get a few more, might get a few less. Obviously if he plays the full season, or close.

Pelletier is likely their top prospect. You don't deal your top prospect for this.

Unless your prospect pool is terrible, then you do.

Like get a 1st and maybe a middle of the pack prospect.
