The Western Conference- Anaheim's to lose?

No it's pretty wide open. Nashville looks great. St. Louis will get Stastny back any day and he completely changes that team, especially in their own zone winning face offs. Talbot has been fantastic and Edmonton continues to just gain confidence and experience. And the biggest thing would be if Chicago or Minnesota find their game and come back. They'd then have to be the favorites.

Right you are, sir. Nashville is a really good team! And so is St. Louis. In spite of the fact that they sold Shattenkirk at the deadline, they are a contender. And SJ was in the Cup final last year, with a worse roster. I think a lot of fans are counting the Sharks out for no reason.

Western conference is highly contested.

Eh, appreciate the NSH love, but the series against STL will be a coinflip imo assuming we close out CHI. We beat ANA in 7 last year barely and the previous playoff series was in 2011 (thus irrelevant).

Still think SJ/ANA/STL/NSH are all fairly even; EDM is in there somewhere, just tough to gauge given this is their first playoff foray in a decade.

Agreed. I wouldn't be surprised at all if any of these 4 make it to the finals.

We suck vs the preds... its prob our least favorite team in the league as a fan base... we never feel good going into a game or series vs the preds. Id love to go to round 2 and the blues/wild beat you guys so we don't have to worry bout it because I'm comfortable vs chi blues and wild... but the preds.... just please stay away

I get the distinct impression that Perry does not like Carlye. Hes had some of his worst seasons with that coach.

He won the Hart under Carlyle.
