No. Caps had tons of power plays and end up giving up a shorty. Holtby made a bad pass - but carlson and ovi equally were to blame on that play.

4 unanswered dominated 5v5. Islanders have a game plan - caps are all over the place, sloppy, and only reason this isn’t a even bigger islanders lead is because caps have had like 10 power plays.

It’s obvious what players are playing with confidence and what players are playing lost.

caps have a bad pp. they are poorly coached with the pp. they need to win by being better even strength - and game 1 the islanders were much, much better even strength. Almost a 2-1 shot advantage for the islanders even strength.

Yep. They looked really good until Holtby folded. They don’t have faith in him and their play then suffers from him
