I’m shocked. He really waived the vets. This is abnormal lol. Exciting though. Times are changing.
Quick article, almost like you saw this coming.Possible affects of the Moore/Wagner waivers
BRUINS PLACE JOHN MOORE AND CHRIS WAGNER ON WAIVERS – Dom – Hockey (wordpress.com)

I think this also means Kuhlman is staying, otherwise he'd also be on waivers, right?
All FA signings by Sweeney. Hmmmmdidn't sweeney also waive Backes and Beleskey at some point before trading them? Where does this narrative come from that he won't waive a veteran player if it makes sense to do so?

At least Wagner and Moore wont cost a first to get rid of.
Wagner was a good signing, and a bad resigning
Gotta say, I like what I've seen from Lyle, and I think he's a better fit for the role they're asking out of that 3rd pair RD. He's got the size to offset Gryz but he's also got the puck moving chops to offset Forbort. He fits with both.
Whereas Clifton seems to be a good fit for Forbort, but Gryz-Clifton is an undersized and, IMO, out of sync pairing. There seems to be a lot of "I got it. Ok you take it. Well, now we're both out of position," with those two.
Yup but 1 good doesn't fix 4 bad signings, especially when your one good signing was also turned into a bad signing.Wagner was a good signing, and a bad resigning
Logan Brown would be nice, but he would have to clear again in Boston but he would be a nice add. This also gives them cap space in case there's someone being waived by another team that they may be interested in.
Dom, when does the list of waived players (league-wide) come out?Not necessarily.
They could place him on waivers 2 pm tomorrow, clear or get claimed by 2 pm Monday and submit their 23 man roster by 5 pm.
