I've never heard someone who was actually from Italy call it gravy, to be honest. Only the stereotypical "Jersey Eye-talians". Maybe it's one of those translation errors, where the words for sauce and gravy are the same thing in Italian? Because, let's be honest for a second - sauce and gravy are essentially the same thing.

Also, that map is pretty humorous and mostly spot-on, except calling the Hoboken-area "hipsters". Today it's mostly yuppies and Asian immigrants. That map might be a little dated, though.

This was too funny an observation not to share: the new Neil Armstrong movie conclusively debunks the conspiracy theory that the moon landing was faked by Hollywood because if it had been a Hollywood production the flag scene would've been cut.

The rumor is, no joke that they are cutting the American flag being shown, not sure if this was just right side media propaganda but there are already talks of boycotting. Can’t they just keep politics out of my movies.

I can’t do it. Well I may just watch for laughs but seriously I can’t believe how the masses in this country let both parties control everything in our lives.

LOL...you mean that a movie studio and production company are doing everything possible to appeal to an international audience? Shocking I tell you

Their only loyalty is to the greenback.

I said the same thing to my wife yesterday when I brought it up but it does go deeper than this based on why you can read between the lines from the quote from Gosling. It’s obvious he and the producers spoke about the omission.

The thought that the moon landing wasn’t an American achievement is a joke though. It was great for all man kind but all you have to do is either have lived during this time or study up on the history and the planting of that flag was a huge moment. It doesn’t bug me that they removed it but it bugs me that they won’t own up to it. Captain America had its name changed to The First Avenger when it was released overseas but they didn’t remove the American flag from the soldiers uniforms now did they?

On another note, I hate trolling but I would still love for there to be an after credits scene where Ryan Gosling steps out from behind a moon set piece where you see cameras and a lighting crew and you hear the director go... that’s a wrap (fake moon landing). It would drive people insane:laugh:

I have been working so much I failed to keep up with the pigeon invasion on my balcony.

Couple made a nest and now I got babies. Ugh. f***ers are too big already that I might as well just let them finish growing before I clean the place out and put up nets to keep the birds out for good

Gravy is not white or red and as much of a kick as I get out of that map Hoboken never had a significant hipster population so I think the creator is referring to jc.

Went out on a date with a girl I met two nights ago. I think it went pretty well. First dates can usually be pretty hit or miss, especially if you run into someone that's a serial dater. There's a lot of people who enjoy one and done dates, sadly. Hopefully this wasn't one of them. I did kiss her at the end of the night (with tongue), and she kissed back, which is absolutely a good sign. Kissing on the first date is a must, I learned that a long time ago. My first serious girlfriend actually taught me that one. Not kissing on the first date is a real good way to end up in the friend zone!

I won't allow myself to get too attached too fast, which is probably why I fell so hard for the one that I had that falling out with back in July. Another reason is that she was the first girl I dated in literally years, so I probably treated her as if she'd be the last one ever and when she went away, it certainly felt like it was going to be.

I've actually been going out to the bars a lot with friends. I still don't drink, but I make a pretty good designated driver and I can drink as many Diet Coke's as I want for free. She kind of pursued me the other night, and I actually really prefer the girl to pursue me, just so I know for sure that she's interested.

Couple observations but I don’t know how to pick out parts of your quote.

1. If you ever kiss a girl with tongue and she doesn’t kiss back... something has gone horribly wrong with your decision making  and many date rape stories start off that way.

2. Kissing on the first date sounds like a horrible rule to me. Waiting too long is of course bad as well for the reasons you said but if you are being too pushy with girls on the first date then you are problablt turning off and pushing away a lot of good women. If the kiss happens naturally during a moment for you both on the first date then I see no issue with that at all but don’t be looking to sneak one in just because it’s “a rule” you have for first dates.

3. I’m glad you are getting out there Bleed. There’s someone good out there for you.

The kiss happened at the end when we said goodbye. She kissed back. She initiated the hug, so I leaned in for a kiss. She kissed back, it was good, outside of the fact she smokes.

I think she’s ghosting me now though. I don’t care and am not contacting her anymore. Kind of sucks because I thought the date went well. Who cares! Vacation to Colorado starts tomorrow! Training camp starts around when I get back. Hockey is almost here!

So was it like kissing a woman or an ash-tray?
