Fans don't have patience anymore and it has seemed to seep its way into head offices across many sports as well.

Thankfully not the Jets however.

Trying to outdraft 30 other teams does have its potential downfalls but this can be mitigated by spending money on things that don't count towards the cap like scouting staffs.

I agree, to a point.

Winnipeg fans, by large, understand what it takes to build a team from close to nothing.

the patience shown by the veteran players, in staying around.......and in some cases singning for less than they could of gotten elsewhere.

finds us in the position we are

we have one of the best scouting staffs in hockey and a shrewd general manager.

we also have a coach who has proven to all the doubters that he is in fact great

all he needed was a solid netminder

We are in the 2nd round
And we split the first 2 games against the President Trophy winner and Stanley Cup favorite.

That is above and beyond what was expected this year.

:)
Agree. The season could already be deemed a success. But while we're here. Let's go for it all

I Love Being a Winnipeg Jets Fan...

Patience and having a management group that had and has it as well...

Is paying off big time...

Including Team friendly contracts...

May Trouba and Statsny and every other future Winnipeg Jet player follows:

Shiefs...

Ehlers...

Buff...

Lead...

You are only as good as your team can afford...

That is how dynasties are built...

I'm very pumped about the Jets taking this series now !!! If they win the next game "at home"--they go up 3 games to 1.

That means all they have to do is win 1 out of the next 3 games to advance to the Western Conference Final-- you have to like their chances.

The Jet's have come a long way from "just trying to make a wild card spot" from last year, and you have to give Chevy a lot of credit, for how he's built this team, and managed player contracts --"very impressive."

We just may have a future Dynasty team here in Winnipeg !!!

Even my wife, who's from Cape Breton and hardly a hockey fan is getting in on the excitement. What a time to be alive.

The Jets scouting staff has delivered us the most talented team in the NHL. It's hard to even let that sink in. My team is right up there to win it all. Unreal.

Positive

Jets are giving me positive times during this down time in our business.

The positive is not just about JETS being successful but to the people that believe on the team as well right through the fans.
