this is the first non-Steelers game I've watched all year. I like to have some idea what's going on for the Superbowl though

Yeaahhhh I agree. Although the SB is kind of different because of the nerves and who the opponent is. So the games never play out the same as previous games were.

But I'm watching for the same reason, I'm following the road to the SB.

Don't understand the issue some have with just settling for 3 there. Ties it up, means even if Saints score you can tie it up on the last play. If you miss and the Saints score, it's a 10/11 point game and your done.

When they run the risk of going for the td instead of the fg they say we are playing to win, not to tie.
So in essence I agree with them... why settle for 3 on the half yard line?! So to risk the next drive having to get a td from 80 yards away... it's just crazy.

Saints really settling down in offense as opposed to draining the clock with long drives... I figured NO would have this, but it isn't so simple.
