Certainly a much more watchable game than the recent horror shows against the Knicks. The Bucks defense not exactly being Fortress Milwaukee helps that. Still, the Sixers need more than Maxey + a not-awful-Tobias to win games against decent teams. Especially when Giannis can do the Texas two-step without getting called for travelling.

NBA memo notes officiating focus, scoring decline

In a memo to teams, the NBA said an increased officiating focus on offensive players hunting out fouls is believed to have contributed to a recent decline in league scoring.

Hopefully Embiid gets the Giannis treatment cuz Giannis def getting the same fouls he was earlier in the year. Hell, I just looked it up and since the All-star break he's actually getting more FTA than he was prior to it.

Oubre’s basketball IQ flirts with a box of rocks. But he gives zero f***s (looking at you, Tobias) and has supermax self confidence. Designed around Embiid, that’s not great. But designed around deargodsomeonegetabucket — please, slash away, Kelly. His real problem this season is being positive defensively on any consistent basis and being morally against an extra pass on the perimeter. Needed good performance tonight though.
