I think one of the biggest disappointments is that Chiarelli didn't Try out McDavid with Hall for a longer sample size.

I truly think that could have been all time once they developed chemistry.

Not even a fan of edmonton and I wanted to see that.

From the time McDavid entered the league until now he does have the highest 5v5 p/60, but it is just 2% ahead of Dadonov (who has a higher 5v5 p1/60 than McDavid). He also does not have 20% higher 5v5 p/60 than Barzal or Matthews.

I did not use players with only one season in the league. It's highly errondeus to say the least, as we'll notice that McDavid is the only player that has been in the top 10 of 5vs5 points/60 in every year since 15/16. He has been 1st, 2nd and 2nd. This consistency makes McDavid easily the most efficient producer since entering the league.

McDavid has 17.8% higher p/60 than Matthews since 15/16, but it's 20.5% higher if we use the timeframe since Matthews has been in the league. Min 1500 minutes.

If they miss the playoffs again and nothing positive and significant has been done to improve the team, I wonder if McDavid will request a trade? It would be a shame if his prime gets wasted.
