Guys worked all year to get here and it’s more likely than not over after the first session.

Maybe not. The US women went up 4-0 last weekend and lost. Aberg is the first golfer ever to play here w/o playing in a major.

Only 8 points of 28 points have been decided.
That’s not a lot when you only have 1 1/2 of those points. If they split what’s left, that puts Europe at 16 1/2, and the Americans are traditionally awful on European soil.

It’s only a matter of time until Zach Johnson starts crying about how the course isn’t fair. That guy was always one of the biggest diaper fillers on tour, so it’s not really surprising that this is how it’s going.

That doesn’t not make him one of the biggest babies I’ve seen since I’ve watched golf.

never really noticed it to be honest always seemed like a decent dude who had a good career with 12 wins and 2 majors. not near one of my favorites but never disliked the dude.

Looking at the stats after day 1 USA simply has to play way better, period.

In the foursomes Europe had seven of the eight best performances, a complete slaughter. In the fourballs, Europe had the five best performers(and at least one in every group). USA looked just like they hadn't played in a month..

It's the Ryder Cup though, a complete 180 tomorrow would not be a surprise whatsoever. Though the matchups in the foursomes are favourable on paper for Europe just like today IMO.
