The house and work have been kicking my ass lately, so I haven’t scanned through the menu lately.

I will say I had $7 captain and coke pitchers last weekend. I’m still hungover.

This is an interesting point of discussion—longest enduring hangover.

I went to my childhood neighbors wedding in Florida on a Saturday , just drank at an insane rate even for me. I swore that at shift change Monday evening I was still hungover. Hate getting old and I’m not even THAT old.

3 Days back in my early 20s. We were at a halloween party, and after drinking for most of the night, someone bet me $250 i couldnt finish a pint of everclear.

I woke up On Nov 1 about 8 hours later still drunk. Hangover Started on the 2nd and lasted until about the 4th.

I get a gag reflex just thinking of this story. Absolutely horrid experience.

What's in that and how do you make it?
If you or anyone else wants to try and make this, here is the exact recipe from our family cook book.

4 cups blueberries
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 cup water

Dumpling mix:
2 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk

Bring blueberries, sugar, lemon juice and water to a boil. While waiting, combine all the dumpling ingredients.

Reduce the blueberries to a medium heat. Drop golf ball sized spoonfuls of dumplings on top of the blueberries. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Don't open the lid during that 10 minutes! Turn the dumpling over when cooked and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Enjoy.

I'd like to see you try to roll up that ****ing tortilla  What a load. I approve, bigtime.

#Portions

Its actually a sandwich thin and not a tortilla but yeah, still had the same issues. I had to pick some of it off the sides, but i did use blue corn tortilla chips for that.

It doesnt look like much, but it was good. Right balance of flavor up front, and a nice heat on the backend.

Guys for the first time ever I shopped at a place called BJ'S. I didn't know we had a store.

I spent about 95 bucks.

The tp was 20
Paper towels 23
Tide 23
Hand soap 15
Dove 10

I realized that this place sells in large quantities.

The tide has 80 pods, they had another choice for 120 pods.

To put in comparison

30 pods at a Walmart would be about 12 or 14 bucks.

So I'm starting to get use to this but I see the savings.

Looks delicious Lou, how'd it all taste?

BJs is basically the same as Costco or Sam's Club. Bulk buys for cheaper prices.
