Cheesesteaks have been debated to death. But chicken wings are a staple to any good bar food.

Not a bar, but we get catered wings from Love and Honey all the time. Nice crust to it. You get from the drumstick to the wing tips. Sauce is great.

Wibs in collegeville has a great dry rub wing. They are a good size and great flavor

Collegeville bakery has a great brick oven wing. Very well seasoned and not fried if you are looking for something a tad lighter.

Also second the Love & Honey praise. If I really feel like killing myself, the Chicken and Waffle with Nashville Hot Chicken from the new place in the Bourse is good too.

For an out of the box option, Poi Dog's (something Hawaiian) Fried Chicken is pretty good too.

Wibs is pretty good...but I prefer the wet sauce over the dry rub.

Best wings in the area IMO are from Island Pizza in Birdsboro. Nice and crispy, traditional hot sauce is good, and they have those "extra" flavors that are good every once in a while.

HELL YES. It's a wet batter and that makes a huge difference.

Willie Mae finally passed away a few years ago, but it's still just as good.

I can see that. Working it was probably bad. But I saw at least 3 guys being 'serviced' either in the parking lot or inside the actual arena. Good on them I guess but Jesus the place was like a brothel.

I can totally see that. The event was a S-show of girls just walking around half naked and flashing anyone and everyone who asked. I wasnt complaining at the time (nor am i now), but i definitely feel like if you went back a second time - you knew what you were going for, and it certainly wasnt to watch a wing eating contest.
