My mind is boggled they're actually taking Sbisa. Biega is available and a better defenseman. I guess the fact Sbisa only has that 1 year remaining on his contract gives them some flexibility.

Pro scouting in this league is awful.

70% of the scouts on 70% of the teams are still the dinosaur types being made fun of in Moneyball.

Square jaw! Pedigree! Size! Hard to play against!

Not surprised considering we've had a complete idiot as our GM for the past 3 years.

Vegas literally started with nothing.

Deadly combination of the worst GM for the last 3 years and the worst drafting in the NHL for the 10 years before that.

I think Biega is gone. If it's not Gaunce, their LD is loaded, RD is thin. I can't see them taking Sbisa's contract and doing us a favour.

Someone's sources are wrong here. The teams have known who they were losing since this morning.

I'm surprised if Sekeres is wrong since he probably heard directly from Linden.

What hurts the chances for Gaunce/Sbisa is that Vegas will be picking 30 players and have access to a lot of mid-level players. Gaunce may be the best choice from Vancouver but no point taking him if he's only going to be you're 14/15th forward
